Management Opportunities 

Line Manager - Catering - Matlock Bath

A rare and exciting Full Time opportunity has arisen at our Family Theme Park in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire.
Reporting to the Revenue Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the catering and retail units within the theme park. With a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills, you’ll be used to organising and dealing with customers, leading a team, familiar with controlling stock and maximising sales.

Previous experience of managing a fast paced, hands-on retail or catering operation is essential, as is the flexibility to adapt to the high-energy, demanding, peak season and to the less glamorous, hard work that comes with the closed season! Line Manager - Theme Park Rides - Warrington 

As our family Theme Park resort continues to expand, an opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business in a unique role at Gulliver’s World, Warrington. If you love theme park rides, if hands-on solutions are your strength and if you thrive in a fast paced, fun environment then this is the role for you!
With a shop-floor approach and excellent communication skills, you will take on the role of Rides Line Manager responsible for the day to day operational control of one section of rides  within the theme park.

Reporting to the Ride Duty Manager and working alongside your fellow line managers, you will specialise in understanding the rides systems, health and safety and risk assessment procedures, training and managing ride operators, including their rotas to ensure they create an enhancing memorable guest experience.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced customer facing environment during the demanding peak season and quickly adapt to the less galmorous, hard work that comes with the closed season!

Splash Zone manager- Warrington 

We're making a massive Splash at Gulliver's Warrington! Reporting to the Theme Park Duty Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a newly refurbished Splash Zone attraction. With a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills, you’ll be used to organising and dealing with customers, leading a team, familiar with pool plant operations and safety compliance.

Previous experience in a fast-paced visitor attraction is essential, together with your ability to offer exceptional experiences for birthday parties, day visitors and resort guests. An all-new Splash Zone is coming to Gulliver's Warrington in Spring 2017. You'll assist with the launch of it's re-opening and associated new experience initiatives. Your introduction period will include a short term at our sister Splash Zone at Milton Keynes (accommodation provided), combined with comprehensive training and Theme Park operations exposure.

Boasting multiple slides, loads of get-wet features and a giant tipping bucket, Splash Zone is the ultimate children's water play factory! Water Wipeout and Splash Tots sessions provide splash-tastic fun for children of all ages. No standing water and no need for arm bands. This is strictly Splash! Trainee Management Programme 

Our family Theme Parks are thriving and we have recently announced the addition of a brand new resort project at Rother Valley which means we need more great leaders for the future. Following the huge success of our Trainee Manager programme, we are delighted to announce its return in 2017.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing business in a challenging leadership role at one of Gulliver’s theme park resorts at Warrington, Milton Keynes or Matlock and with one eye on Rother Valley. With a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills, you’ll be used to organising and dealing with customers, be innovative with your ideas and have an infectious enthusiasm that engages and inspires those around you.

The Trainee Manager programme will be structured over a 12 month period starting in May 2017 and will include:

  • A number of placements across different areas of the business.
  • First class training programme to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Senior level mentor from within the business and access to external development coaches and experts.
  • Ownership of bespoke projects which will challenge skills and develop learning.

You’ll be a high energy, ambitious individual who is prepared to work hard to gain experience and develop new skills in order to progress into more senior leadership roles within the business. The ability to work across all of our locations is essential and you will be able to demonstrate evidence of a strong work ethic from your previous experiences.
